Rich, tender leaves have a softer texture than curly green kales.  Leaf is extra-dark green, noncurled but heavily blistered (savoyed).  Perfect for sauteing or in soups and stews.  Great lettuce alternative on sandwiches instead of lettuce. Organically grown.
